Jon Schleuning

Jon holds an exceptional track record of building brands, cultivating client relationships, and managing complex communication projects. He adeptly balances a creative mindset with a proven ability to develop and implement successful brand programs on local, regional, and national levels. An active member of the AIGA, he has received a certificate from AIGA’s Business for Design Leaders program held in conjunction with Harvard Business School. When he’s not at work, Jon is an avid trail runner, self-taught painter, and active volunteer at his childrens’ schools.

Jon Schleuning comes to Emotive Brand with over 25 years of experience in brand, strategy, marketing, and business development. From emerging startups to Fortune 100 corporations, Jon has worked with leading companies including Google, Salesforce, and Ripple, and cultural, educational, and non-profit institutions like the California Academy of Science, UCSF, UC Berkeley, and many others. Jon started his career at The North Face, where he was a Senior Communication Manager. He worked on the team that transformed the company’s focus from “Fine Alpine Equipment and Apparel” to “Never Stop Exploring,” a tagline and mantra that is still relevant today. Most recently, Jon was the Vice President of Brand Strategy at Marshall Strategy. Before that, he was an Associate Partner at the international design consultancy, Pentagram.
